Marius Dicpetris is the vocalist, trombonist, and leader of the Shiny Shoes Band in New York City. In Florida Marius is also a member of the jump/swing band Loungecat. Marius got his start at The University of North Florida and went on to receive a masters degree from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. After touring with The Glenn Miller Orchestra for 14 months, which included coast to coast concerts in Japan, Canada, and the U.S., Marius spent 1 year playing with Loungecat. From there, in 2007, he moved back to the Big Apple. Since then The Shiny Shoes Band has been in full force playing all over Manhattan from the West Village to the Upper West Side.
